A true Go Anywhere, Do Anything (GADA) watch, as long as you keep it away from too much water, that is.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Innovation: Quick set date<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This hand-wound watch features a quick set date. This means that unlike many of its contemporaries (including for instance the Rolex Datejust), advancing the date doesn\u2019t require turning the hands a full 24 hours. All it needs is a gentle pull of the crown. In the late 60s, this wasn\u2019t something to be taken for granted, but a real feat of engineering. Today, it still brings great user friendliness in the shorter months.
