The dial of this 1966 Omega Constellation is a picture of mid-century sophistication. Finished in warm 18k solid gold (deluxe) that complements the gold case, it features applied gold baton hour markers, fine black inserts for contrast, and an applied Omega logo at 12 o\u2019clock. The signature Constellation star sits neatly above 6 o\u2019clock\u2014a subtle nod to the chronometer-certified movement within. The Case & Movement<\/strong>
The C-shape case, introduced in the mid-1960s and designed by G\u00e9rald Genta, was a bold evolution in Omega\u2019s Constellation line. At 35mm, it wears slightly larger thanks to its integrated lug structure and balanced proportions. This reference 168.009 is crafted entirely from 18k yellow gold, giving the watch a warm, substantial presence on the wrist.
