Vintage Omega Genève 166.0124 from 1972

Omega is a Swiss watchmaker renowned for its high-quality timepieces. Founded by Louis Brandt in 1848, Omega has been making watches for over 170 years. The company was the first to create a watch movement with two mainspring barrels and was one of the first to introduce digital quartz technology into watches.

This Omega Genève 166.0124 from 1972 is one of the most rare Genève models we’ve ever come across. It features a 35mm stainless steel case and has the Omega cal 1481 movement inside. One of the special details of this watch however is the rare deep blue dial that as far we know isnt on the market at the moment. Beautiful big block markers can be found on the dial as well as some nicely aged lume.

This watch also features an integrated bracelet with a folded clasp and a special steel bi-directional bezel which doesn’t look like any other bezel made by Omega. The condition of this watch is near mint with very little to no stretch on the integrated bracelet and a perfect case. Some of the lume on the dial has a little bit of spread by the aging of the lume. This timepiece is sure to add style and sophistication to any collection and is ready to be worn and enjoyed!
