Measuring a modest but present 34mm, the large light dial surface makes this Seamaster 600 appear slightly bigger. Big and bold enough to be adventurous, cool to be worn on your denim day and discrete and distinguished enough to fit under the cuff of your business shirt. This watch can take it all. A true Go Anywhere, Do Anything (GADA) watch, as long as you keep it away from too much water, that is.
The Innovation: Quick set date
This hand-wound watch features a quick set date. This means that unlike many of its contemporaries (including for instance the Rolex Datejust), advancing the date doesn’t require turning the hands a full 24 hours. All it needs is a gentle pull of the crown. In the late 60s, this wasn’t something to be taken for granted, but a real feat of engineering. Today, it still brings great user friendliness in the shorter months. March first has never been easier.
