Vintage Omega Seamaster De Ville Chronograph 145.005-67 from 1967

When you think of Omega chronographs the first thing you think of is ofcourse the speedmaster line. But in fact Omega made many different chronographs, like the de ville chronograph line and the beautiful Seamaster chronographs. These Seamasters were made to accompany the Speedmaster line offering a less sporty and more elegant look. With the famous 321 movement inside which was used in many pre-moon speedmasters this watch is truly a stunner!

The De Ville line was first introduced to dials of Omega watches in 1963 when it was an addition to the Seamaster line. These first De Ville watches were double-named with the inscription ¨Seamaster De Ville¨ and stayed that way until 1967 when the De Ville line officially became a watchline of its own. The special watch we are offering today is a transitional model from 1967 with a double-named dial, being one of the last ones ever produced.

This beautiful Omega Seamaster De Ville runs on the famous 321 movement made by Omega. This amazing movement is placed inside a 35mm gold plated case with pump pushers and a steel screwdown caseback. The dial on this watch has a nice cream color and has 3 sunken subdials for the chronograph function. Surrounding the dial is a Tachymetre scale and golden hour markers to compliment the gold plated case. This watch has an alligator strap with a gold plated Omega buckle which is in good condition for its age. The crown has been replaced with an original Omega gold plated crown and the gold plating has some wear on the pushers.
