Vintage Omega Constellation 1959 with BOR bracelet and flat dial

A true beauty in top grade stainless steel. This Omega constellation from 1959 (17xxxxxx) is a class apart. Inimitable in its elegance and simplicity. Unbeatable in its accuracy. The Omega constellation is a keeper for many collectors and therefore hard to find in good condition. This “connie”, with its original Omega signed RG 8220 Beads of Rice bracelet, comes with an extra special crown. Instead of the usual decagonal constellation crown this vintage piece comes with the original and rare thin scallop crown which is the correct crown for this reference. The reference number is 14381-8 SC. To add to the value, this watch comes with the original, untouched flat dial with original faceted golden Dauphine hand set and original golden hour marks with onyx inlays. The diameter is approximately 34.5 mm excluding crown and 43 mm from lug to lug. The stainless steel, screw-in, case-back is fully original and has a golden observatory medallion inlay. To finish it off in style, this vintage watch houses an Omega in-house automatic caliber 551 officially certified chronometer movement. All in all a great addition to every collection. A collector’s wet dream. A piece that will be passed on to many generations to come!
