Vintage Omega Geneve Dynamic Ladies (presumably ref. ST 566.015)

Weird and innovative design is something Omega has always tried to do, well this is definitely one of them! This presumably ref ST 566.015 Omega Genève Dynamic is something we’ve never seen before. I say presumably as this watch has never been opened. This mint example of the Genève dynamic line was made in the late 1960s and has aged like a fine wine. The first thing that pops out is of course the amazing dial. The starry denim blue dial looks like the material it was made from came from another planet. The rough texture on the dial creates amazing depth to this wrist piece. Big puffy lume plots together with bright white hands are the perfect contrast to the special dial.

The integrated bracelet fitting seamlessly behind the big broad bezel on this 29mm watch adds another unique detail to this already crazy watch. This watch runs on cal. 681, a small automatic winding movement with date function made in-house by Omega. The condition of this watch is mint, with little to no scratches. The crystal has a small scratch near the 6 o’clock position.

What we love:

  • Amazing denim blue rough textured dial
  • Integrated bracelet
  • Mint condition

What you should know:

  • Small scratch on the crystal near 6 o’clock position

OMEGA Geneve

Omega started applying “Genève” to the dials of the dressy 30mm watches they produced in 1953. This was in honour of their 30mm calibre that set records at the Geneva Observatory. In 1967 the name began to be applied to models throughout Omega’s range, such as the Omega Dynamic, that were produced in larger volumes.
