Description
The idea of integrated bracelets was popularised in the 1970s when the threat of the quartz crisis combined with stylistic change caused watch design to change. Omega came up with their own interpretation of using an integrated bracelet when they launched this Omega Genève 166.0173. The well proportioned 36mm stainless steel case that connects seamlessly to the bracelet is a match that works really well. The stunning deep blue texture dial combined with the case and bracelet design makes this watch a sporty and classy wrist piece all in one.
This Omega Genève runs on the sturdy cal. 1012 automatic movement with date function which makes this powerhouse of a watch ready for any adventure. The warmth of the tritium lume on both hands and hour markers playing with the dial colour and the white hands is truly special. The condition of this watch is good, with some small scuffs on the case and bezel this watch looks to be unpolished. The lume has been preserved very well and shows awesome patina.
