Vintage Omega Speedmaster Reduced 3511.80 ´Japanese market´ from 1998
The Omega Speedmaster Reduced has seen many iterations throughout its 30+ year lifespan. From small changes like a strap/bracelet swap to bigger changes like a movement swap, none were as impactful for the aesthetic of this watch as this special and rare 3511.80 with deep blue dial. The striking color is something unique to see on a speedmaster model and probably won’t be available for long!
This amazing Omega Speedmaster reduced 3511.80 was made in 1998 and runs on the cal. 1152 automatic chronograph movement with a date function. This powerhouse of a movement is placed inside a 39mm speedmaster reduced case with some special features. A few of these unique features are the polished stainless steel bezel which displays a tachymetre scale, An original Omega signed octagonal crown made for the Japanese market. The deep blue dial has an interesting dial layout displaying the chronograph subdials turned 90 degrees. This detail places the Omega logo and speedmaster sign at the 3 o’clock position together with the date function creating a truly special look and feeling. The overall condition of this watch is excellent, with no signs of polishing and a few very small marks. This watch comes on its original bracelet with almost no stretch at all.
